I had the pleasure of trying the jerked red snapper from Jerkyard Jamaican Restaurant, and it was GREAT! The seasoning was spot on—bold, authentic, and perfectly spicy. The fish was fresh, tender, and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service was great—friendly and attentive—and the restaurant was clean with a nice, welcoming environment. Easily one of the best jerk dishes I’ve had. If you're looking for real Jamaican flavor, this is the place.

Just had my third meal from this spot and once again, they did not disappoint! The jerk chicken wings were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat and flavor. The rice and peas were fluffy and full of that classic island taste, and the macaroni was creamy, cheesy, and comforting. Every bite hit the spot. Consistent quality and delicious food keep me coming back — I’ll definitely continue to patronize this restaurant!

I really love the food very authentic very spicy very fresh. I would recommend you guys go there and check them out jerk white dinner, red beans and rice and cabbage. I don’t like macaroni and cheese. But my man loved it.

Ordered the jerk salmon lunch special and it was so good! Food was fresh, hot and seasoned perfectly, the veggies on top were a plus. Lunch special came with one side and a 2 up charge for yams..so I spent about 22 but it was worth it!

I passed by The Jerk Hut while running errands. The smoked Jerk smell emanating from grill in the back drew me in. I ordered the Jerk wings which come with rice & peas, plus plantain. I substituted the cabbage for the Mac & Cheese because more carbs of course... Apparently, the order right me before was huge and the wait was long. I couldn’t stay so I requested a refund. No managers were there at the time so I decided to come back and sort it out later. Pryce the manager, was cool, calm , and collected. After listening to what happened, I was issued my refund and because I had to come back I was actually able to taste the food. The Jerk Wings were fantastic. They were so juicy and I really enjoyed the deep smokey jerk taste. They paired great with rice and peas. I’m glad I found a local restaurant where customer service still matters and food quality is important. Please keep up the good work. If it wasn’t for Pryce, this would have been a very different review. Thanks again.

We visited this restaurant today and all I can say is.. DELICIOUS!! We had the Jerk white dinner, the chicken was falling off the bone so very tender. We also tried the brown stew chicken very tasty. I am so happy to taste real authentic jerk food. Can't wait to get to try the oxtails

Edit: Went back again after their Grand Opening and this place still hits. My wife tried the jerk salad...delicious. You come for the jerk but stay for the Mac n cheese. New Jerk spot in Hyde Park. Their jerk sauce was delicious. Great food, great customer service. Wife and I got the white and dark chicken and a side of Mac n cheese. Everything was homemade and really good. We will definitely be back. Prices were comparable. They have a few seats inside and a place to stand and eat on their “patio”. Overall I’d recommend it.

Today ordered a veggie Rasta Pasta dish but it lacked sauce and veggie’s I know because I ordered it the night before and it was fire lol I was half way home when I realized it, so I went back I honestly just wanted some sauce in a container and I would have been fine. The staff and cooks went over and beyond gave me some sauce on the side and an extra Rasta Pasta Veggie dish, I honestly wasn’t expecting that. I’ve been eating here for quite some time the food is always consistent the service is always consistent and the place is always clean. Thank you so much for your hospitality, service and kind generous spirit. I will always support and to everyone reading this you have to try this place out the number 1 go to for Jerk food in the Hyde Park area. IG @Desadierr_
